GIFs are graphic interchange format, a digital storage format, allows for brief clips to be sent and posted easily. Frequently used for memes and appreciation posts. The Supernatural fandom is known on Tumblr for having a GIF for anything from their show. GIF Sets are groups of GIFs sent together for a longer post.
