Fanfiction

Also known as Fanfic or Fic: Stories written by fans of a book, television series, film, comic book or other media property, who writes their own stories utilizing characters, situations, or the world building of the original source material. Generally non-commercial and derivative from original source material, but transformative of the material, making comment on the material or society through their original storytelling.
